3:10 am - Ghouly !
I was just thinking back on this (slightly edited)conversation today... and I laugh !

Ghoul
"In Muslim folklore, the ghoul is a demon of the desert that is able to assume the shape of an animal. It is an evil spirit that robs graves and feeds on the flesh of the dead or on young children. They inhabit lonely places, especially graveyards. They also lure travelers into the desert, sometimes beguiling those traveles by prostituting themselves, and then devouring them. The Arabic ghoul of the wasteland seems to be a personification of the terror of the desert."

Kami惻 here's an off the wall question.... describe a ghoul for me...

supazu: zuh?

Kami惻 I think my conception of a ghoul is misconstrued, but I was thinking of making a character one

supazu:
depends on your definition of ghoul

Kami惻 flesh eating... kinda like a vampire but devoring of the flesh and lots o fangies.. maybe

supazu: lol... sounds sorta like that character i wasz talkin' about

(excerpt missing due to crappy-ass icq used briefly)

supazu: that little minx!

Kami惻 and theres an evil lady ghoul who rules over them ! She will have to be from the far off desert it seems !! (note the ghoul definition)

supazu: the greatest demonic sand prostitute of all time!

Kami惻 lol, yep !! I was actually thinking that originally.... thats how she'd lure new victims to add to her little hive and such.

(story plot revealed)

Kami惻 Which would mean not only did he become a ghoul but he cheated on his wife !!

supazu: that bastard!

Kami惻 *dramatic voice* Can Miran forgive his
papa?

supazu: not if he gets eaten first!

supazu: he may have a soft spot for old dad

Kami惻 but not the evil lady-type ghoul !!

supazu: "Oh, papa, is that you?"
glomp!
"aaaargh!"
supazu: oh yeah?
supazu: "Hey look, sand hookers. How much?"
glomp!
"aaaargh!"

bweeheheheheee ^O^
I thought more on this story plot today.. I shoulda drawn for it, but didnt.

1:26 am - >.
That was a rough five days in a row at work... but I finally made it through (wai!)
Sleep is on the agenda for tomorrow's day off ! (As well as ring me fave lil elf up ^_^)
Ive also gotta finish my Adenauer/Brandt outline for Saturday.
boo..
And read some chapters of "The Greeks and the Irrational" for Thursday's class. Its such a hard book to read =(
Its like, 100 pages long with 100 pages of footnotes and source references and other yucky, blah stuffs.

I watched some more episodes of Mermaid's Forest today.. I dont guess it should have been a real big surprise that the next few episodes were a remake of the OVA. Im sure Mermaid's Scar will be retold in another set of the episodes. Overall though, I give it my approval as a decent series.
Got the next several eps of Sakigake! Cromartie High too. It was amusing. I loves that little 11 minute long delinquent spoof series ^_^ Ive got some of the manga in zip files too, but havent read it. I also won the Peacemaker Kurogane books in an auction, so I can read them when they arrive eventhough I have volume 2 in a zip file.
yaay.

At the airport, a lot of crew members going to ships at the shipyard/state docks pass through. They fly in from all over the world to work on ships that dock here in Mobile. Now each section/company at the state docks contracts a transportation group to bring them from the airport to a hotel or the ship. Over time, Ive become familiar with these drivers who come to fetch the crew members.
From Alabama Line Services there's Tim and Kevin (I think tahts his name)
For OBC/COFLEXIP there's Sam and his son.
There's also John and one other guy that work for specific sections..
Now tonight, I get stuck with Sam and Kevin.
Sam is a nice elderly black guy who talks with such incoherence that it really amazes me when these foriegners can understand him (and usually they cant)
"We go from that Delta line to Marda Inn, Where's that Marda Inn?"
"Marda Inn?" I thought, and said "Malaga Inn?"
Then the scottich guy who just came in said "Ramada Inn"
"Oh, oh yeah" -.-
He also told me I looked like I had gained some weight =(
"but all my clothes still fit" *pout*
He got some Irish guys that were totally pissed (in the irish sense of the word) and left.. Then here comes Kevin..
Now really, this guy annoys the holy crap outta me.
When I see him come through those doors, I try real hard to find something busy to do. Tonight I was sitting outsite with a drink during break time and he walks up and talks about some steak he had at some hotel restaurant. Its always real lame redneck crap from him. "Uh yeah, I snuck my beer in, huh huh huh... yeah, then I kicked his ass, huh huh huh"..
but tonight.... he said way too much..
Somehow... SOMEHOW... He gets on the subject of this illegal porn video he brought back from Amsterdam then details to me about how it involved animals and that he only got caught when he told his cop friend that he had a really good porn to show him..

I didnt know how to respond to that...

I mean... wow...
why the holy fuck did he need to tell me that tidbit of info??

*shudder*
Id prefer a tall, scuzzy German cab driver call me gorgeous and babycakes rather than talk to that guy.

In other news:
I finished my Gouzaa conte crayon drawing and it looks nice.

Saw Lost in Translation yesterday too... It sucked.. sorry, but it did. It was sooooo slow and the girl was annoyingly boring. I mean, she's in Japan and all she really does is go do flower arranging and see temples then hook up with Bill Murray. Maybe if the movie had just been him in amusing situations in Japan, it would have been more entertaining.

Before I conclude,
I would like to point out that I was called a "BITCH" in very mean and serious capital letters by a certain someone's man, and I protest to this.

0:12 am - This and that. then and now. "no kanzler porn !!" he sez
Ugh, me eyes and brain ache..
Ive been working on this presentation outline for two weeks and still feel like I havent accomplished much. Im supposed to present information on Konrad Adenauer and Willy Brandt tomorrow morning in my world leaders class.
Not ready for it and since its for bonus points only, I think I'll wait till next week to do it.
Ive had to dig deep to find a lot of this info and utilize my rusting German skills. I mean, these guys are famous in Germany, but the rest of the world doesnt give a crap about dead German politicians. Of course, I would choose to be different and research those two.
Germans voted Adenauer the greatest German of all time.. oh, yaaay....
Willy Brandt won a nobel peace prize for Ostpolitik.. oh, yaaay....

I can't, for the life of me, see how Adenauer beat Otto von Bismarck in that poll -.-
I mean, cmon, Blood and Iron !! Blooooooood and Iron !!
Maybe I just havent learned anything from my research.. blah.

Brandt is scary looking.. I have one pic where he looks like Jack Nicholson as the Joker with lots more wrinkles.
@_@

Aside from this, its been an okay day.
I arrived at work at 4:48 this morning after watching the new PM Kurogane and Gash Bell episodes. It was a relatively slow day with not a single person requiring valet assistance. I then made a resolution to do more of something I highly neglect: book reading. I dont like fiction books though. Im my mind, I have plenty of fictional stories to keep me entertained. Thus, my interests in books lie in the scholarly types. Opinions and analysis and reviews on historical and political fact and commentary. I picked up a seemingly nice publication called the Intercollegiate Review at the university the other day and attempte dto read some of it today. It was tedious and hard to follow. One didnt make note when it was the original text and when the review and another was just a bunch of yap yap with no direction or focus. I skipped to its summary and wasnt too surprised to see that it lacked one.
Frustrated, I turned to drawing..
Aaaah Lycidas.. the object of Ghamuret's affection..
whoa, wait a minute...
*blush*
I cant believe I just drew that !!
I was so embarrassed when I looked at what I had on the paper. Lycidas, should he be real, would mercilessly torture me for a thousand milleniums for it !!
It was to be an innoccent, beautiful scene when Ghamuret embraced the man he loved (in a fantasy cause Lycidas isnt the least bit interested in man-love much to Ghamuret's despair.)

"Let me comfort you.. Let me hold you close and absolve you of your sins.... ... .... Now give me head !!"

He's not doing that in the drawing, but it sure looks to be an implied outcome.-.-*
Embarrassed, I went to the airport gift shop, and I bought a book.
I had wanted the one on the Third Reich that they had, but it was too pricy. Instead, I picked up a book called Useful Idiots: How Liberals Got it Wrong in the Cold War and Still Blame America First. Its a highly biased book, but one that makes a lot of sense and offers lots of evidence to support the author's (Mona Charen) argument . Its also highly entertaining. I kept reading it for most of my shift and I only usually do that when I have to for a class.
Now, Im not well read on the Vietnam Era and after unlike the Soviet part of the Cold War that I know quite a bit about, so a lot of the stuff about Vietnam I found interesting. I could make a lot of comparisons to today that I wouldnt have imagined before. I wont go into that though.
But I am very glad that I am fortunate enough to miss out on that period of our history.

After work, I paid on my pretty PT Cruiser's note and was upset to find out I get no money back from that hellish stats class I dropped back in february. Then took a trip to slumberland until I awoke to work on my outline some more.
As I did so, my mom noticed my book and was asking my dad about it. He said it was mine and she didnt believe him =(
"Why would she read something like that?"

*sigh*
I go now.

0:10 am - PM Finale
"Papa !"
"Damnit son, why did you have to go and do a stupid thing like join the Shinsengumi ?"
And even after the "imperialists are wonderful, imperialists are great speech", he still remains in the group and quite loyal to it?
One who makes peace? You're a bunch of violent revolutionaries who happened to have won !!

Tetsunosuke "Iron Boy" has some serious issues -.-*
and how come he looks nothing like his dad when Tatsu-nii looks just like him ?!?

It was a good episode overall... but it left a whoooole bunch of holes and was, well, heartwarming almost.. I expected more answers, more shocking info revealed, more to happen... to see the downhill spiral of their society. You know, something a little more upsetting that tugs at the heartstrings a bit like the ending to Hikaru no Go. Instead, they all go have an amusing rest at the festival and Tetsu makes some pussy Kenshin promise never to kill.
I have more respect for Susumu in the end though.. Ever since the you know what with Ayu-nee T_T

oh, yeah, and poor corpse carrying Suzu ;-p

The manga is on eBay now.. Ill probably buy it and work on my own translations for it since its only 3 volumes.

Anyone wanna petition for a movie and/or second season? lol.

20:51 pm - kuuuurrrooooogaaaneeee
Im anxiously awaiting the arrival of the final episode of PeaceMaker Kurogane onto my computer. Ive looked forward to this moment all week !
The series really got good.. It took me a while to sit down and really get into, but now Im hooked. Even got a PM theme going on with my icons !
Beautiful artwork..
I love the angle of the series too. Its the shinsengumi in a view that isnt exactly negative like in Kenshin where they were nothing but damn dirty shoganate dogs ripe for the killin'. (kinda funny though, seeing a Saizou like that !)
I keep waiting for Tetsu to find out that mayhaps it was Hijikata that killed his family and not Yoshida who didnt claim to know of any such incident. This always made sense to me. Why would someone who supports the ideas of the imperialists be killed by them so violently?
The question still lingers and the last episode has come around. In about 2 hours, I shall have my answers !! hopefully !!

I saw the new Naruto episode today too... Good background info on Gaara. Now I can better understand where all the "ai" comes from on that insane freak bastard !
Awww, but I guess I loves him too, lol.
I just wish that friggen Sarutobi would finally defeat Orochimaru with that shinigami jutsu. That thing has been tugging on his soul for the past four episodes practically !!
Maybe we get to see Naruto become more posessed by the ninetails soon !! whoohoo !!

Also will get to see ep 25 of Konjiki no Gash Bell soon. I look forward to seeing how they beat that little ladybug demon. Probably wont have any Folgore though =(

What else happened?
Umm, three people in class tonight... very short class held but mostly just us talking about random crap not the reading caus ethe presenter was absent like everyone else.. chemistry building caught on fire... didnt affect our class..

ummm, yep

BTW, Im on livejournal now too, but Im gonna try to post the same thing in both journals since this is a pleasantly elitist journal place, muuaahahaaha...

20:28 pm - seusu paaku
The other day I happened to be browsing the official south park website looking for something amusing when I stumbled into the BBS. The first episode of season 8 was, in my opinion, one of the best ! So I began to read the new posted reviews.. Quickly I became disappointed with what I saw. It had quite a few negative reviews… it had many goodones too, but the bad seemed silly. I lot of people complained that it had too much anime. I hardly find that to be true. I felt that they were sequenced perfectly with what a kid would imagine. And in this day and age, a child is more likely gonna use anime style with his imagination since anime is killing American cartoons and comics. Now, here comes this most snooty part of this post: I didn’t find it all that ā€œanimeā€ ;-p
Maybe Koreanimation? Can I make that a word? Lol.. Stan and Kenny looked like they could pass for anime… maybe.. They were also the best looking incidentally enough. The others looked more like americanized art. The song in the fight scene was perfect though !! Being the rabid anime/jrock fan that I am, I can really appreciate the humor in it. I mean, its Trey Parker singing Japanese using a fairly decent accent with bad english lyrics mixed in.. ā€œTaisetsu mono protect my ballsā€ gyaahahahaa XD
The first part translates, I think, to, ā€œThose are magificent penises over there. They have pubic hair. No wait those are ninjasā€ or something like that… Kami approves of this song !! very very much ! Great episode…
I went on WinMX the other day to see if someone had already encoded that song as an mp3 and was distributing it, but I had no luck =(
Then………….. I gained an interesting idea.. I would use my WinMX power to discover the Japanese south park dub (maybe I was just bored as hell). I went to the Japanese website to copy the proper katakana for ā€œsouth parkā€ and found something even more interesting. The voice actor for Kyle is Kappei Yamaguchi !! I LOVE KAPPEI !! XD
For anyone who doesn’t know, he does a lot of drama cd voices as well as tons of anime roles, such as: Inu Yasha, Ranma, little Zenki, Shinpachi from PeaceMaker Kurogane, Daisaku from Giant Robo, and many more !! The only thing is, I couldn’t imagine him being able to pull off a good Kyle. I mean, Kyle is all Matt Stone, you cant be comparable not matter who you are. So I queued up a whole mess of japanese dubbed south park episodes. Here is my review: Theme song is lame and chunky. The lyrics don’t flow and the singer is terrible. The overall dubbing is not half bad but still an obvious dub. I think that the language used was only to fit the lipsync as with english dubs of anime therefore they probably arent the best translations for the dialog. The acting is also minus the feeling needed for say cartman and the others. Like when he says something in a quite amusing way, the Japanese actress just yells it out in her odd voiced Cartman. Its not that bad sounding actually. She probably sounds as close to cartman as a japanese person can get !! Stan is kinda plain (which isnt a bad thing) and sounds like the english version some of the time. Kenny, well, you know…
Kyle was the big shocker !! As I said, I couldn’t imagine Kappei as Kyle, but I’ll be god damned if he didn’t sound almost EXACTLY like Matt Stone as Kyle (only a tad higher pitched)!!!! He must have a clamp on his balls to make that high a voice o.o
He didn’t do the voice in the movie though… That was disappointing =(
So, overall, Im glad I saw the Japanese dub, but it gets too annoying to watch every episode like that.
I also checked out the controversial shockwave episodes they were asked to make. Apparently, they had been given complete creative/uncensored freedom and the company (I forgot if it was macromedia or what) ended up not using them because of their content. These two episodes are called Princess and are technically about a stupid looking dog with a stupid theme song. Trust me, its easy to see why they werent used. The first episode showed Princess watching as her owner gets jacked off by his wife who isnt too thrilled with the process.. After about 10 minutes of this, he asks her to use her mouth and well, she does so after complaining then you see the back of her head explode and well, yeeeaaaahh.. its like that.. In the second part, the cops are there and are sympathetic saying it happens all the time with viagra. Then some weird guy comes and says he’s the body checker guy, and the cop says, ā€œUh the corner?ā€ he nods and the cop points out the body. Then we see the father trying to explain to his son what happened and he runs to follow princess when princess tries to get someone to come into the room where the ā€œbody checker guyā€ is, well, defiling(sp?) the corpse -.-.. It was blech !! and stupidly lame… I mean, I think Ive seen far worse in little depiction/words on south park, but geez…

Is this a bad time to mention that I want some of that stuffed french toast from IHOP that I have yet to try?

20:25 pm - more and more, you anime snot !!
Im at work right now… and Im tired….. This is my third morning shift (5AM to 2 PM) in a row and its really killing me. I also have to work tomorrow from 2 to 11:30 (hopefully not later) and then again on Tuesday from 4:00PM to 11:30PM (hopefully not later)..
I feel so stressed out from all this overtime work Im getting that I don’t even get benefits for because Im a part-time employee. Stress has a nasty effect on me… I think I tend to gain weight when Im stressed (you know that cortislim commercial? I think its ideas leaked into me brain !). I also, and starting just this year, tend to start having bad acid reflux just like my dad. It can get so bad that it will deter me from eating at times… Constantly its like a rising wave burning in my throat and moving iback into my chest. It also feels like I just want to vomit it up but can’t. Another reaction I get when Im stressed is itchiness… it happens in three places: on the right part of my tummy near the navel and the backs of both my legs near the knee. Kami just wanna curl up and sleep sleep sleeeep !! Unfortunately, I arranged to be two places at one time after work today >.<
I said to my mother that Id go to the award ceremony for my cousin who won 3rd place in a high school art test. Then, I told Jess that I was coming over after work not thinking about that. I can blow it off though.. I was at work and it got late and blah blah… To be honest with you. I really don’t feel like going over to Jess’s house either.. Im sooooo tired.. Ill go but probably only for an hour.
BLLLLAAARRRRRGGGHHH……………….

My brother really disappoints me. He’s not the crazed anime fan that I am yet he pretends to be. Its like, I watch the series, he asks about it and gets the details and then acts like he knows that whole series and . He may watch one or two episodes but that’s it. In the past several months, Ive seen some amazing anime. He hasn’t watched anime of it except for one or two eps of Naruto and Gash Bell. I downloaded one series the other day called Yumeria. There was nothing too overly exciting about it. Average loser Boy finds multitudes of overly cute magic girls who shack up with him and fight bad guys inbetween the same ole tired perverted jokes and crazed rivals. In other words Its rather lame in that its not unique in the least bit. Even the intro sequence is boring. My brother happens to catch me watching the first few episodes and he sits down to watch…. Then, soon after, he exclaims, ā€œI really like this !! Its interesting !!ā€ >.<*
The next day, his gf is suckered into watching it and I hear her saying ā€œwow ! I like this a lot ! Its one of the best mahou shoujo series Ive seen !!ā€ I wanted to vomit !! Here are your perfect examples of anime fans gone bad. They are drawn in only by cute girls, lots of colors, and dirty jokes.. I mean, you can only laugh at the same underpants jokes so many times before they get old… They can’t appreciate something that’s of a high quality because of this. Hikaru no Go was beautifully unique as I mentioned… Not a single episode watched completely… Naruto was very exciting and captivated me thoroughly. Now Im always on the edge of my seat and on eof the first in line to download the new episode when it hits the Bit Torrent community the next day after airing in Japan. He only watched two episodes and that was recently.. like, episodes 70 and 71 then stopped.. He is watching Gash Bell though.. I cant pinpoint why just yet.
Bah, how dare he call himself an anime fan >.<*
He can take his lame love hina lovin’ ass and shove off !!
My anime collection: Houshin Engi, Slayers, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Kenshin, Inu Yasha (and a hundred others)
His anime collection: Ah My Goddess, Steel Angel Kurumi, Fruits Basket, Love Hina

P.S. I really hate to admit that I like Inu Yasha due to its insane popularity now, but I was interested in it long before it was even made into an anime.. damnit….
There’s some girl in my religion class who loves it and always goes on and on about it saying crap I really could care less about… In fact, I think she scares me away from it. Kinda like, ā€œwow, these types of people like what I like….ā€ @_@

20:21 pm - Upcoming big one !
Yeah, Im gonna do a real update for the first time in ages.
Why?
Well, I had some ideas I wanted to jot down that I really cant talk about with anyone I know due to their nature. Heh, that makes it sound all devious and controversial but its really not.
Why have I not updated?
I havent been in the mood to let others see what my life has been like. I don’t have much of an online following anymore. No one has read this in ages I’m sure.
Ive also been so consumed in the world of bit torrent fansubs, Edmundo, work, and school that updating my journal is the very last thing I think of.
So, umm, school…
Im doing okay this semester… Had to drop my Stats class after making a 49 on my first test. If I had passed it with at least a D, which I thought I had done, I would have kept the class, but alas, I am completely mathematically challenged. The bad part about this is that I can no longer graduate in May. I have to wait until August after I take a science to make up for statistics. Im really not dissapointed about that. In fact, the idea of me graduating is kind of freaky.. I mean, Ive been in school for years and now, suddenly, its over. What do I do? Ive pretty much decided what I want to do, but a major change in my life has to happen. Namely, I have to get out on my own and leave far from home. Its not like that’s a new thing for me. After all, I did go to live in Germany for a while. The difference though, is that back then, I was spending university money and I had a place to come back to when I didn’t have any more.
Anyways, that’s not the stuff I meant to talk about…
My religion class is okay… It could be better…. but its not… Its not that Im not learning anything, its just that, well, the professor is insanely picky and deep with his questioning. His grading on participation is too strict. I looked on his gradesheet and noticed I was only getting 80s on participation and I talk just as much if not more than anyone who isnt participating. Short of dancing on the table, juggling historical interpretations of religion, what the hell do I need to do to get an A !! >.< I did get 90s on my presentations though, which was better than my partners. Dr. Monheit is a well-known professor at my Uni and its easy to see why, but he’s a little odd. Like during one of the presentations on Max Weber, the student explained that the famous sociologist had married his cousin and never consumated the marriage. He also mentioned that Weber didn’t have sex until he was 40 and that was during an affair he was having. Monheit for some reason felt he had to defend intellectuals after hearing this -.- lol, the sociologist funfact…
Music Appreciation reminds me of a high school level class. Its very simple and the professor treats us like children. In fact, this week, we are watching Amadeus cause he feels we could use a change of pace in our learning process… By watching a fairly historically innacurate film !?!? How does that movie teach us about classical music of that age >.< See?? I cant even name that age !!!
World Leaders is a really good class with one big flaw.. Its on Saturday morning from 9 to 11:30 @_@ sleeeeeeepy sleeeeepy students. Dr. Husain is a very good professor though. He is remarkably knowledgeable on the topic and I learn quite a lot when Im trying to stay awake. He’s quite harsh and vocally opinionated on leaders too. He always calls the most infamous ones ā€œevil and demonicā€ like Saddam. I have to do a presentation in there at the end of this month about Konrad Adenauer and Willy Brandt. I’ll do quite well.
As for work.. I work way too much… Im at work right now actually typing this up to post when I get home later… and Im about to snap…There’s a Travel South convention here and they are welcoming reporters who want to showcase the City of Mobile in their magazine. Therefore, there is a touristy film playing on the big screen behind my desk. It’s an eternally repeating 3 minute long piece of crap featuring a horrible song about Mobile and showing two seconds of each attraction. RAAWRGH !! If they ever let me near dvd, I can assure you, it will be destroyed. Im going to be working in valet some this month which I have no problem with. If you want a job where you do nothing and get paid decent money with tips, then valet is the job for you ! I worked it the other night and sat in a peaceful room easily becoming oblivious to the world around me. I liked it…. Very much…. Too much… I cant drive a standard though…. And theres a huge responsibility when driving a customers car, but, when you only work an average of 20 minutes out of 9 hours racking up at the most 20 dollars a night in tips, its not a problem. However, I don’t think my boss will hand me over to valet.. My drawback is that Im someone who does my job and is known for being helpful and friendly to customers. Sucks huh? You work so well that you cant move to another position that pays the same, but you don’t have to do jack. Ive also been caught up in playing Breath of Fire 2 on a SNES emulator I installed here at work. Now everyone wants me to bring roms for them to play too.. Stuff like MK and KI and NBA whatever…..
My love life is the same.. I still love Edmundo quite a lot and call him quite often when I can ! It makes me so very happy now just thinking of him and reminiscing our highly enjoyable conversation from last night. He makes me feel very good, and without him, I just wouldn’t be all that perky or sociable. Just a gloomy shadow of who I am (like I was before). He cut his hair though T_T before I got to see !! whaaaaaa !!
My online comic Warui is now extinct……… Lack of interest… lack of frequent updates… and the possible loss of our free server… It’s a shame, but there’s nothing I can do. Im not even all that motivated to draw lately. I havent done any conte or charcoal sketches since Christmas time when I made some portraits for my grandmother. As for regular pencil sketches and doodles, I do those all the time still but havent created anything worthwhile. I did some cute chibis recently for Ed, but that’s about it. Ive also doodled some characters from an old samurai story of mine which has been playing in my mind a lot lately. I had a moment where I got all enthusiastic about working my Zenki website. I wrote out a pages outline for it and named all of my files and made thumbnails accordingly. I even created all the basic pages and named them so I could easily put them together. Unfortunately, I found a flaw on my design. I cant preview the pages that I make in the site frames I built. Since then, I havent worked on it. I also spent about a month obsessively pursuing the Zenki OVA file on WinMX with promises to my zenki community of fansubbing it. It was during this time I got to learn a lot of kanji and vocabulary through communicating with japanese filesharers. I met a lot of jerks and annoying people too. Eventually though, a kind user with the file shared it with me, and I traded him some Zenki doujinshi (one I had leeched and one I had scanned). I had abandoned all my downloads to get that one file and then, after I had gotten it, I went right back to music searching with anime themes and Field of View in mind. I still have yet to submit the Zenki OVA for funsubbing >.<
Perhaps I could do what I need to do, but……….. Ive been consumed…….

Completely and utterly consumed………

Tis the power of Hikaru no Go…. (Spoilers ahead)

For the longest time, I had been seing the name Hikaru no Go and really didn’t know what it was about. It did seem popular, but I didn’t bite until recently. The pictures were of a spunky young boy and a bishounen priest-like guy. I was curious and downloaded it. I don’t think it ever would have dawned on me that Hikaru no Go (of which I knew nothing about prior to watching it) was actually about Go… Now, Im not too keen on the world of strategy board games and an anime about one doesn’t sound too appealing. In fact, it’s a right dumb concept in my view to tell a tale of a boy who plays go with the aid of a go-lovin’ ghost. However, I became strangely drawn into the story of Hikaru and Sai. Before I knew it, it became quite amazing. Now, I watch a lot af anime… A LOT !! and I feel I have a good sense for whats good and Im very critical. There are very few anime out there that can really move me and Hikaru no Go just exceeded that mark as I watched it today. I got all upset when Hikaru realized that Sai was gone forever and that Hikaru couldn’t realize that even though Sai was a Go genius, he was too.. In fact, you begin to feel that Hikaru is the one that Sai was meant to play against for the divine move, but its all shattered. Hikaru would quit Go.. It was really upsetting !! really !! Hikaru is a character you can really grow with. The series takes place over two years and in that time, he goes from not knowing black from white on a go board to being a pro without Sai playing all the games. He develops a strong determination without involving that whole love thing that’s so typical (in fact, his girlfriend of sorts gets shrugged off to a very miniscule role) and then it all collapses when Sai vanishes. Its also kind of sad how, Hikaru leaves behind his life as a normal kid. His friends and pleasant go club are all replaced by rivals who want to be pros and then finally, the pros themselves (which includes Waya ^o^). Im now on episode 64 which seems to be a flashback episode. The one after progresses with Izumi’s go work in China and then another flashback with Akira.. I got a little worried that they might try to end it like that: Sai vanishes forever and Hikaru stops playing Go…
I went in search of answers and discovered that the series hasn’t really ended yet !! TV Tokyo is about to air another HnG special that confirms that Hikaru picks up Go once again to fight Akira for the hand of god…………….. without Sai…
UPDATE: Correction, I just finished the series and Im practically in tears, lol. Its really sad that its ending now when there’s so much more to see…. And that Sai… well, has moved on.. ~sniffle~ T_T
Mmmm, I loved this series very much… Its quite amazing to make someone like me interested in something I really didn’t care about. I don’t think I could pick up Go myself though.. It looks really complicated and Im certainly not the brightest bulb. Maybe if I was younger and had more intellect and determination. I downloaded a nintendo Go game and played it on my emu. There was no way I could beat the computer. He took my stones right and left. -.- It was so discouraging !
I did, however, just purchase some HnG wallscrolls that are completely yummy ^_^
The artwork in the series is quite amazing ! I want to get the artbooks too. The manga is licensed for US release now (a crapload are licensed now.. the US manga world is really growing now.) Im not so big on manga though. This one in particular is practically the anime verbatim so Im really not interested in reading what Ive seen. Oh, and I just bought some chibi HnG figurines ^o^ and pins ! I felt I was cheated with them damn pins though. I got the whole set through 7 ebay auctions, and when I filled out the form to pay for them, it said shipping was $12 !!! I was enraged !! That’s insane when you think about those little pins in an average small manila envelope ! I would say that it wouldn’t even be more than $3 standard USPS. I complained and really havent received a response aside from ā€œWe’ll see what we can do.ā€ I think they still charged me the high shipping. Cartoonpassion is going to get 7 bad feedbacks from me.
UPDATE: Fuckin’ bastard >.< I get an envelope with four pins only and 80 cents charged in shipping !! I email the guy all bitchy like and three days later, I get a response saying that they didn’t have those pins and refunded my money. I was still angry. I don’t think you are allowed to have an auction for an item you don’t have. Its just wrong ! I didn’t give him negative because he did give my money back, so he got neutral but still.. I wanted them damn pins (especially the Waya pin).

Gah ! Im such a freak, lol… I bought an Ushio and Tora artbook the other day, and I must say that its quite amazing.. Id like to get the manga series of that. Its got some interesting artwork, a neat story, and doesn’t follow the anime, which I also just bought on dvd. I also got some cels of Kukuri from Mahoujin Guruguru as well as some figurines and a Zenki CD.

Right now Im watching Konjiki no Gash Bell to replace HnG which replaced Naruto when I caught up with that. It’s a story with a very interesting/amusing concept. One hundred demons have come to the human world to battle each other with the winner becoming the king. Each demon has a book that a human obtains. The human can read certain spells from it that cause the demon to attack or defend. Gash is a small cutsey looking child demon who shoots lightning from his mouth. He is partnered up with Kiyomaro, a genius schoolboy in need of friends and improved social skills. Heehee, I love the Parco Folgore guy, he’s so corny but his breast song is quite catchy XD
And the yopopo song ! ā€œYopopoi Topopoi Sopopopoi !!!ā€ lol, poor little green bastard.

Anyhoo… Enough !

2:37 am - The Barrier
A great barrier exists that is around 700 hundred miles thick. On one side is a little blue kami who knows that something wonderful can be obtained on the other side. For five years she clawed, scratched and knocked on the barrier suffering quite a lot along the way. She worked very hard, though, and came close enough to be able to hear that wonderful object. This tough little kami continued to try and try unable to let go of all she had accomplished against the barrier.
She just needs a little more help..

Just a little help...
Then something wonderful could be hers for all time..

I'd rather curl up and die than give it all up...

Damnit, Damnit !!

Friggen' ADV just liscenced Chrno Crusade...

Now the fansubber have to drop it, and I wont be able to see the end for a long time now !!

Why couldnt they liscence Hikaru No Go instead?

Oh yeah, other bad news...
Not only am I strung out working valet shifts in place of the guys who were fired, which made them very shorthanded, in addition to my own job, but now, Im going to have to work extra in Information (my department) because Jina got fired today.

>.<

Why for?

Valet guys = stealing change from cust. vehicles
Jina = always late, missing work, and sleeping on the job.

Everyone had been complaining about her irresponsibility since she was hired (the one who got the position Jess was originally hired for) The other day, she was four hours late then took an hour break shortly after coming in leaving valet and dispatch in a sticky position covering the department. Then there was the situation with the missing earrings we were raffling off for the Cancer Society fundraiser. Basically, they went missing. She had been the one to purchase them, but all signs to the loss pointed to her fault. We tried to get them replaced by the Kmart was out of them and another had them but refused to honor the same price. Now, we're faced with returning $60 in raffle ticket money that we no longer have cause she reimbursed herself the earring price from the money raised and is now terminated.
We were gonna take what was left and get the others, but they wouldnt take the cheaper price.
Strangely, Jina wouldnt go with me to look into getting them today. I was a bit peeved about that. I guess she caught me right after the "talk" she had been given and was to finish out her day.

Its kinda sad when you watch a movie about a rivalry between two famous composers and compare Salieri to Touya Akira and Mozart to Shindou Hikaru in your mind as you watch.

13:48 pm - uckies... a bad class !! and anime spoilers !
After a little more holiday in which I was crippled by bronchitis and an insane of hours to work, it is finally time for classes to begin.. Friday, after spending a cold, dreary, rainy Thursday recovering in bed, I went to take care of my tuition through the credit union loan program. This sort of loan is very agreeable to me and Ive done it several times. Basically I pay 25% of my tuition and take out a loan for the rest. The loan is paid back in three installments due each month over the semester. This way, I can afford an education and not owe a fortune when I graduate. Unfortunately, it has gained in popularity and I had to wait an insanely long amount of time. I took number 92 and they were on 80, so I sat down and quickly realized that everyone there needed to open accounts and all that mess. I did, however, skip over to the bursar lady in line who wasnt doing anything and went ahead and paid $500 down which was about $150 over my 25%. Then I waited a whole hour to get to the first desk where it took me only a minute to sign a form and get my folder to proceed to the final forms table.
mou >.<
I also stopped by to check on my book prices...
$100 for a friggen statistics book !! paperback and very thin at that ! I couldnt believe it.. My music appreciation book is $60, but its hardback and comes with a 4 disc cd. For my History of Religion class, there are only three books at around $12 each. One of them is a book by Max Weber on Protestantism and Capitalism.. I was pleased to see that since I am taking this in place of a politi-social course. My other class didnt have any books available... Id like to say Im relieved, but Dr. Hussein really liked using the IR book when I took that class, and I cant imagine what he's got in mind with the world leaders course.
Today was the first day, and I only had one class in good ole parking hell ILB (instructional lab building... aka physics and math.) This was statistics of course and Im quite dissapointed. I mean, I know I shouldnt have expected something nice, but still........ homework........ takusan...
I HATE HOMEWORK !!
An exam, a reading quiz, an essay due, a report due..
FINE, BUT NO GODDAMN REGULAR HOMEWORK !!
*takes a deep breath*
margh..

The professor looks like she's about 26.. young, flakey, and sounds real nervous when she talks. She's not even a certified professor yet.. She's still a student and just started working on her phd... The supllement instructor is an undergrad that loves statistics and came off as being a total moron otherwise. He spoke like he was some drop-out thug in a street gang. It was pathetic.. Maybe he knows math and thats great for him cause I sure as hell dont, but anything else considered Humanities is obviously not his strong point. By that I mean, I cant see him writing eloquent poetry or a survey of the cold war.
The students in the class were annoyingly preppy and 97% female. I also dont like it when people sit around me when they dont have to because I enjoy privacy in a class when I start to doodle.. someone staring at me drawing or commenting makes me uncomfortable. Naturally, in the first few minutes, I had someone on every side of me and the other side of the room was empty. Grrrr.. and then, eventhough I was near the door, I was the last to leave cause everyone flocked in front of me. Bastards !

Ive got that class three days a week... >.<
In addition to the fact that Im bad at any form of math.
its gonna suck.
Tomorrow is music appreciation class... I cant imagine that being so bad..

So on to anime.

Now that Ive watched all the good series up to the point where Im forced to wait for the next episodes. In the meantime, Ive been exploring new series and will comment accordingly.

Weiss Kreuz Gluehen:
I have some mixed feelings about this one as a fan of the WK boys, but overall, I enjoyed it.
The new characters Ken and Sena werent much to get excited about and had rather dull designs. In fact, Sena looked similar to Mamoru (Omi), but he did have a great seiyuu ^o^ I loves Kappei Yamaguchi, lol.. He should have sang some of the music too !
As for the others, I realize that as the years go by they change and all, but some of the designs irk me and some I like..

Aya: Love that braid ! I think he looked hotter in Gluehen than the other series, but his outfit cant compare to that purple coat he had in Verbrechen ^o^
The dulled reddish color was also more realistic, but still conveying the same old Aya style.I liked that. Too bad he's a shitty history teacher >.<

Omi: Uhgg.. He doesnt even look like the old Omi.. If I didnt know any better, I wouldnt have even thought it was him. His hair got wavy and dull brown with one stupid longer stray bang in the middle of his face. The suit he traded his teenage duds for wasnt appealing either. Too bad he's a shitty Persia >.<

Ken: He was always my favorite eventhough he went through a whiney little bitch stage in the TV series. I liked his old design and Im conflicted over the change. I like it, but if I like it better, I couldnt say. He looks like some cool, trendy, go nagai action hero with a thirst for blood. I liked it.. and the longer hair was a nice touch. I couldnt take it if his hair took such a dramatic change as Youji's !
Too bad he's a shitty college student ;-p

Youji: RAHRGH !! If you didnt think he looked gay enough before, try looking now.. Probably the worst change in this series. I never was a big fan of Youji actually. The romantic cassanova types dont really have appeal, but I cant forgive his design change. He sure as hell doesnt look like he should. The short spikey bleached blond hair isnt attractive like the chin length subtle natural blond. The cowboy hat is another giant negative.
Too bad he's just plain shitty looking...

Schuldig: mmmm, I much approve of his new look. He was always my favorite baddie and his late 19th century new england ragamuffin outfit with nazi hat is quite yummy with his neatly combed long orange hair as opposed to the original choppyness of it.
My only complaint is that you dont see enough of him.

Nagi: No comment really... its good yet similar.. nothing more really to say.

Crawford: boo.... this is terrible.. He was such a cutie-pie bishounen nerd and now he looks like Count Pompousfeather (I made that name up) with his big ass monocle and slicked back white hair. Might as well make him another character completely -.-
His "inner world" sucks too, btw..

Farfello: He was a crazy fruit basket with a design to match. I loved it and looked forward to seeing his new design. So I waited.......... and waited....... then I realized that there was only 3 people in Schwarz... How could they leave out Farfello?!?!? Damnit ! I wanted to see the crazy guy with the voice of Freeza (Naoko Ryuusei)!! Then they finally show him... all of two seconds with no clear image of his design in Crawford's "Inner World".
My analysis: it sucks !! No earrings? no white hair? no yellow creepy eyes? boo.

So what did I think of the end?

******WARNING, UPCOMING SPOILERS******

Ken goes to jail, willingly I assume, and teaches soccer to inmates.. Blargh. He's too good and cute for that damnit.. Finish college !!
Youji loses his memory like he eventually decided not to do after his mental breakdown. Then he marries a nurse named Asuka, same as his dead girlfriend from Schreient, and gets a desk job somewheres.. I guess thats nice, lol.
Omi becomes a jerkface wealthy Takatori and everyone is dissapointed in him, as they should be.
Finally, Aya escapes to be a vigilante in America and dies when some brat stabs him on the streets. I was shocked....... What a terrible way to end Aya's life !! =(

anyhoo.
Naruto 65 was just more hype before the Gara/Sasuke fight thats got me anxious to see.. I was upset... and how the hell did Sasuke's hair get that long so fast? o.O Mou, gotta wait for the hour long fight episode that airs this week in Japan to be fansubbed >.<

Bo-bobo Bo-bobo was some insane crack anime I found with an insanely muscular guy who has a yellow afro and fights with his nosehairs against the evil hair thieves. -.-
More Cromartie High.... More Kaleido Star... More Peace Maker Kurogane... More Papuwa (including raw eps of the original series.) Arashiyama is hilarious.. poor friendless guy !! At least he has posing doll Toji to keep him company @_@

Shin Hokuto no Ken is something I just got now. I loved the cheezy old series cause it was so crappy. Maybe the new one would be more amusing. Well, the Gackt theme songs are out of place... and the CG is bad.. Akira Kamiya doesnt do Kenshiro's voice anymore either which is a huge negative. Eventhough the new guy is Takehito Koyasu, he's still not as good.
Oh well..

I go now..

3:02 am - Christmas presentry and other stuffs
Christmas was relatively lame this year. Last year I was fiddling around London for the holiday and at this time I was in Dublin
Remember?
http://www.deadjournal.com/users/eternallyblue/2003/01/02/

Yep, twas a good memory that seemed quite hectic at the time. This year though, I worked 2-12pm five days in a row starting Christmas eve and ending yesterday. Ive been very tired today naturally >.<
At home, I had a quick christmas gathering with family before work. My spoils were quite pleasing though my parents had mentioned getting me a small flat screen tv but instead decided that I really wanted an art easle(sp?) instead -.-
I had mentioned one would be nice, but compared to a new tv, I probably would have chose the tv. The easle(sp?) is very nice, but I at least need a stool for it now !
I also got one of those paraffin spas for feet and hands from my grandmother as well as a weird looking bear plush. My aunt gave me some money. And I also got some butterfly earrings that have amber stones on them (gorgeous) and some other earings with dangling stars and a crescent moon. I got a whole bunch of rings too, but my mom got them all in the wrong size and had to send them back -.-
My dad got me a radar detector for my car as a bit of a gag after he followed me home one night and I left him in the dust, lol. My mothers gag gift to me was a tiny, silly air hockey table cause I told her I wanted one of those big nice ones, lol. She also got me a bunch of small grumpy bear stuff like socks, pens, and a wallet.

At work, I met the new girl, Jina.. She's half black-half puerto rican and not quite someone who stands out as an outstanding employee. She's about two years older than me and has two kids, one is six and the other two I think. Both from different fathers, one that was shot to death by his other girlfriend, the other just a one night stand I guess. She's on welfare and struggling to make ends meet. It makes you want to feel sorry for her when she tells you about her life and then you see her flirt....

and my friggen god does she flirt....
I mean, she and the new valet guy really needed to get a room it was so bad. She was making customers mad cause she wasnt really paying attention to them, just to the black guys swarming around her. It got so bad that I just went to drawing and doing what I normally do when I work alone.
I also indirectly asked her a question I was dying to know... Since she was hired instead of Jess in a quick period of two weeks, did she show her birth certificate and HS diploma.. the answer was no... no she didnt...
That fucking bitch Cassandra in personnel fucking screwed my friend over just as we thought. Which makes a problem. I cant make this an issue though is clear discrimination and far from an ethical business practice. If I bring it up or if Jess does, theyre gonna know that I found out what really isnt my business and passed it on to him. That could make my life hell at the airport. I might even lose my job over it if it becomes a big deal.

"Are you gonna tell Melanie Monday?"
"No.."
I know he was hurt by all of this, but there's no good outcome of getting into this. Sadly, I know what its like to fight a company's decision. Ive tried it twice. I never got anything that I wanted from it, and there's a huge possibility that all that could come from this is me losing my much needed job.
Maybe that sounds selfish...... but still..

Anyways, I also saw one of my old high school friends at the airport. Her name is Beth Fesler and we havent spoken since graduation. About 6 months ago or a little less, I had sent her an email through classmates.com wanting to rekindle correspondance and see how she was doing in the past five years. I got the email saying she had received and read the email, but I never got a response from her. Clearly, I was offended by this. She didnt speak to me at the airport either. If she noticed me or not, I couldnt say, but I was shocked !! She was HUGE !!
I mean, for someone who was going to college to be a dietician to be seen at twice, maybe three times her old weight. Literally probably 300 up from around 180.
"So hows that dietician thing working out for you?"
*cough* >.<
Makes me feel a bit better, lol.. At least I can still wear pants I had in middle school.
Not that it means Im skinny or anything... far from it !! Im probably 180 myself now. Jess agrees, that bitch >.<
The other days at work were pretty boring. Not much going on. Yesterday they discovered that a window on the shuttle was shattered.. due to the brilliant deduction work of corporal Ramsey >.< "the weather did it !" Yeah, the crystal clear sky, moderate temperatures, not even a slight breeze smashed in that window...... True, there was no item inside the vehicle to prove something was thrown through it and no glass on the ground, but geez.. he came up with that in like 5 seconds. Later that night, a valet customer came to get his car... He paid and waited... suddenly Griffin comes up and says theyve lost the key. After a search wielded no results and the guy who parked it, good ole Colin >.<, calling in panic every few minutes, he got his money back, a rental car and went home. Later an officer found them in a stairwell behind a pipe. blarghhh @_@

As far as the ORANGE LEVEL security goes... for our airport that means two things: two armed national security guys walking around, and no parking and waiting in your car on the arrival side drive. Not much of a difference really.
One would imagine that people could respect how security is at such times, but they dont and get pissed when they cant get to the gate. They had to have a guard detain a man who was determined to meet his wife at the gate. @_@ Not that we're real secure in the first place, but according to CNN, we are one of the strictest and most thoroughly TSA staffed airports in the US... that means, you dont get through security no matter what and neither does your pointy items and lighters and some guy had a small club weapon the other day that he refused to surrender.
baka

My parents left today.. they are going to visit friends in Vicksburg, MS then drive to Atlanta for New Years and then to North Carolina to see some mountain property my uncle owns there. Im home all alone through the next five days and off till the 2nd. Today was shitty in general because of that. Aside from, the fact that it was POURING rain and I had to go out to the bank and credit union across town to pay my car payment. BOTH my cousin and brother had their girlfriends over devouring the food and consuming beverage I told them to ration ravenously... They then ordered a pizza and announced that I couldnt have any. >.< Its like being in your own house with a ton of people who dont live there yet dont want you around....... just your stuff and your money. Fuckin' kids... I had a job when I was their age !! *shakes her fist at them* I earned all that neat stuff I have !

Anyhoo........ I have been indulging in one thing most pleasant.
NARUTO !!

teehee ^_^
Ive been absolutely entralled by this anime. everynight I would watch ten eps and then d/l the next ten eps. Though Ive been working, I still managed to see all 64 episodes that are fansubbed on the net.

Behold !!
Conflicting quiz results:

Which Naruto Character are You?
quiz by orangeday.net

gaara
You are Gaara! The lover of death, you fight to
kill and satisfy your own demons. Death is all
around you, because you are the one who caused
it. Not allowing anyone to become overzealous
you fight the powerful and defeat them without
a scratch on you. Your overbearing power
brings fear into your companions and your love
for death doesn't help either.

What Naruto character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

lol, Gaara's funny cause he's this little freaky guy with love written on his forehead that uses sand from a giant gourd as his weapon.. I want a UFO doll of him and Sasuke ^o^

The characters are so loveable !! Almost all of them in fact ! I even almost cried when I thought Sasuke died protecting Naruto from Haku. *sniffle*
If I had to compare it to another anime, I would say Kenshin, and Ill explain: loveable characters, plenty of action and move announcements/explainations, around a hundred episodes, human exceeding ability, realistic setting though a fantasy world, plenty of hotties to go around ^o^, and a girl who only kicks butt occasionally but is mostly ends up being protected. If anyone EVER says its like DBZ, Im gonna break their neck for being so lame !! If you compared it to One Piece though, I'd just shrug.. Ive seen a lot of One Piece, but I couldnt get into it as much as Naruto which, in my opinion, far exceeds One Piece.

I also saw the end of Shingetsutan Tsukihime, finally, and Im so disappointed. The final battle was so anticlimatic and abrupt. I blame this pathetic end to them dicking around with Shiki's mind too much in the previous episodes. He wasnt even the one who killed Roa !! Plus, it never explained what was wrong with that girl who liked him. They hinted that something was upsetting her even before she knew about Arcueid, after that incident where she was listed as missing. It also never explained who that sensei woman that gave him the glasses was..
Damnit, I hate it when they get kinda good then ruin themselves.

Another surprisingly good anime was one thats only 11 minutes long (I hate those) called Sakigake Cromartie High. What makes this a sparkling comedy gem is the fact that it looks so serious. Its about a normal guy who does something really bad (this is a ripoff too cause they say if you want to know what it was then read the manga, boo !) and he transfers to a school full of stereotypical Japanese delinquents. As I mentioned, the artwork looks like its for a serious anime, but the comedy is proof that the creators were on crack.. Everything from the Freddy Mercury-like guy who doesnt understand japanese to Mechazawa to the gorilla.. its all insane and completely perfect to add to my list of must experience anime !!

Go Get em Hachimitsu Boi !!
muuuaaahhaahahaaa XD

1:33 am - graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddddddessssss
Fuck.

Remember how I said in a previous post:

"Im sure I will receive two As, two Bs, and a C (The future is bleak for Physics) this semester.."

2 A's 2 B's and a friggen D....

I really got screwed by that hard-ass Physics final. I thought my good grades in the lab would at least get me that C, but I was completely wrong !

Oh well... Ill get all As next semester and at least graduate with a 3.1 GPA =|

damnit....... I should of taken a biology...

Next Semester's schedule looks like so:

MWF - Statistics (boo)
TTR - Music Appreciation (m'eh)
TR - European Studies in Religion (better than gender studies)
Saturday - World Leaders (not looking forward to it)

Thats four classes and I go to school five days a week.... IT'S INSANITY I TELLS YA !!

PS... I didnt win a damn thing at the company christmas party last night at the Radisson Admiral Semmes hotel banquet hall (fancy-schmacy), le grrr. They gave out great prizes too ! like stereos and tvs ! In fact, not a single person in customer service won. Methinks it was rigged !! Even Cassandra who was drawing names won the big prize.. aint that suspicious !

The food was amazing though.. Jess, who had the misfortune of being dragged along, enjoyed it but was relatively bored the whole time.

and a quick Shingetsutan Tsukihime note:
Im probably the only one watching this series, but I must comment on episode 11.
Shiki, who is absolutely void of any real moving emotion aside from fear and frustration, finally out of nowhere embraces Arcueid after she says she cant resist trying to drink his blood, and they suddenly have sex.
Gosh, she sure did surpress that vampire urge fast when Shiki got all intimate !!
He's such a slut, lol.

buuwwwaaa... I want that new Papuwa episode but that torrent server is down..
>.< mou !

0:17 am - Ice and Gifts and lack of spirit
Its been pretty cold lately for where I live.. I dont see snow eve cause its never cold enough for it. Id say that the low tonight has been 35 degrees. We went to walmart for a bit to get some essentials and browse for a gift for my dad with no luck. Upon returning, I noticed that there was a thin layer of ice on my car.
burrrrrrrr.....
The whole neighborhood does a candle lighting this weekend every year, but it was really lame this time 'round. It rained A LOT yesterday and no one really cared today. My dad fixed our tacky (thats such a southern word) fiber optic tree so thats the only thing seen at our house.

Yesterday, my mother and I braved a crazy storm to go to the flea market where there was thousands of other people with the same idea. Its a covered flea market, but its still considered outside. I bought a pendant my mother picked out for her birthday and a large silver charm that matches a choker I have. My mom got my grandmother a rug and had some silly name road signs made for my dad to give to his siblings. I helped my mom pick out something for Amanda, my brother's gf. There are a few places there that sell chinese stuff so I found a blue purse I liked and she got that for her. Before we had come to this booth, I was looking at a neat windchime with chinese characters for my brother. Then my mom, when asked if he'd like it, tells me its better than what he got for me and that when I see it, I should be greatful regardless. This peaked my curiosity.. I bullied her till she told me what he bought me cause she kept saying how bad it was. He got me a buddha statue.. My mother, being the rabid southern baptist, eastern star cult member she is, was furious. I didnt mind her being upset, however. Im not really interested in buddha just as Im not interested in a god. In fact, I could get something else pretty nice out of it ^o^ muahahahaaa !! and I did ! Her plan was for him to give it to Amanda instead and she'd buy something else for him to give me. At that same chinese place, I found a nice framed paper carving of a chinese dragon but it was more than I wanted to spend on my brother, so my mom got it for me from him ! gyeeehee. He wasnt too happy that she asked him to do this. He was upset that what he picked out wasnt good enough. He didnt know I knew what he bought me and that I picked out the picture, btw. My mother told him I said I hated buddha.. I dunno if Id go that far, but, whatever :-p

After the flea market we went to Steinmart. I had no idea what they sold there and my mother told me junk, but she wanted a game they sold as someones gift. It was mad-crowded; so much that you could barely move through the department store junk.. My mom, after not finding the game got caught up looking at charms and I got a charm bracelet out of it ^_^
Its the standard silver loop bracelet with three charms that she got me: a blue butterfly, a smiley bat with marcasite stones on its wings, and a peculiar lobster/crab/starfish charm that although not something I care too much about I found quite unique ! I also wanted the airplane charm but she said no more, lol. I got in line after that and unlike the other long insane lines, got right up to the register second in line. Mom walks off. I waited a bit but she has vanished. I had no choice but to surrender my place and look for her...
big mistake !! Mostly because I found some clothes I couldnt do without. One was a silk pink jacket top with an oriental dragon motif. The pants were black silk with an oriental floral pattern. I got those too, lol. ^o^ Im so spolied sometimes !

We went home for a little while and I watched some more Papuwa and Live Action Sailor Moon until my mom and I went back out to the mall. It wasnt eventful there. I got a triple vanilla freezer from the coffee place and looked at some books for my dad that I didnt buy. At Best Buy, my mom got Fatal Frame II for my brother. It took us forever to find it. Youd think that new releases would be in view, but it was tucked in with the overstock over the main shelves. I bought my brother Pirates of the Carribean and my mom also got him Bruce Almighty. In the check out line, my mom catches site of the new Sarah Mc-however you spell her name cd. That was her christmas present from me.
Back home, I wasted the night watching Peace Maker Kurogane after I finished a christmas Kami greeting that hasnt been delivered yet.

I cant help but think he's mad at me.. Ive been feeling stressed out and just plain down in general lately. The other night I had started out in a good mood but ended it unable to stop crying. I just felt like I screwed up again... and the worst results were echoing in my mind. I remembered how shitty this month is for me. Everything always seems to come crashing down in December, but I dont want it to be like that now...

My eyes are filled with tears now just thinking about putting words down for it.

I really need him to be there..
